Matthew Burston (born November 25, 1982 in Perth) is an Australian professional basketball player, currently playing for the Melbourne Tigers in the National Basketball League (NBL).
Burston played for the Perth Wildcats from the 2001-02 season until he was signed by the Dragons in April 2006. In 2003, he won the NBL Most Improved Player award. Burston spent much of the 2006-2007 season injured, playing only a handful of games. He played for the Championship winning South Dragons from 2007-2009 for two NBL seasons, until getting resigned by the Adelaide 36ers on the 22nd of June 2009 for the 2009/10 NBL season. He signed on with the Melbourne Tigers for the 2010-2011 NBL Season.
